Family Search Class

Suzie took her first class for genealogy on Monday and is so excited to search out all the Griffin relatives.  She is working with Roots Magic software also and will be adding all the information to this software.  If you have something that you would like us to work on let us know.  Also if you go on line you can purchase the Roots Magic program so that you can work on your own pedigree charts.  They are at Version 6 and that is the program that Suzie will be using.  Hopefully by the next reunion we will have all kinds of new information. 

Suzie is also going to be doing a memory quilt and looking for pictures of the eight children of Louie Levi and Goldie Ethel Griffin.  If you have photo you can email it to Suzie at sashayward@yahoo.com 

We are looking forward to learning new stories about our family and sharing that with everyone.

Great News

Suzie is going to be taking a class on how to research family members for documents.  She will be learning some tips and will be given some information on different sites that are free.  The classes will be for seven weeks, so she is looking forward to passing on the information so that everyone will benefit from the knowledge she gains.

It has been awhile since Suzie has worked on a blog, but will be trying to get up to date on how to use the blog to our advantage.  

New Blog for the Griffin Family

While in Dilliner, Pa early this month for the Griffin Family Reunion, it was suggested that we set up a blog in order to share information, pictures and stories about the Griffin Family.  This is the first step in order to make this happen.
